To mark International Women’s Day, Pillars hosted an intimate panel at Amie Wine Studio, exploring inclusion, community and the future of leadership.
Led by Alix Caiger, with Soph Gordon, Clementine’s Kitchen and Sabrina Gidda, the conversation unpacked what leadership looks like when it is values-led, people-first and built for the long term.
A thoughtful evening shaped by honest perspectives, shared experience and the women helping move the industry forward.

Pillars x District: The December Social
08.12.25 | 6 PM
District Wine Bar
An evening of conversation and reflection with Chelsea, founder of District, as she shared the story behind bringing the brand to life. From early ideas and identity to the realities of building something with longevity, the evening offered an honest look at what it takes to create a business that lasts.
Hosted in December, it was a considered way to close the year, bringing together the people, stories and perspectives that continue to shape the industry.

Pillars Panel: Are We Building Or Breaking Hospitality
26.09.25 | 10 AM
34 Bloomsbury
Pillars came to life at 34 Bloomsbury for a morning of conversation, connection and industry insight. Led by Alix Caiger, the panel brought together Harrison Hide, Holly Arnold, Lorraine Copes and Nash Gierak to explore the future of hospitality, from the industry’s PR problem and its potential for growth to sustainability across the supply chain, team culture, inclusion and the changing expectations of today’s consumers. With coffee and networking before and after the discussion, the morning created space for new connections, sharper questions and meaningful ideas.
Guests also left with a copy of the first-ever Pillars Paper, extending the conversation beyond the room. All proceeds from the event went directly to Hospitality Action, adding further purpose to a morning built around uniting, challenging and inspiring the industry to shape what comes next.

Pillars x The Sloane Club: Voices In The Room
15.07.25 | 6 PM
The Sloane Club
Voices in the Room brought together a powerful mix of founders, operators, creatives, strategists and specialists for a roundtable at The Sloane Club, led by Mike Kershaw. The conversation explored the future of hospitality through sharp questions and honest perspectives, from shifting customer behaviours and changing definitions of value to the rise of technology, sustainability pressures and the responsibility of leadership. A considered evening of real challenges, future thinking and industry insight, the discussion captured exactly what Pillars was created for: bringing the right people into the room to speak openly, think collectively and shape what comes next.

Pillars Launch: Hospitality Is Talking
15.05.25 | 6 PM
The Gate House, Sands End Community Centre
The first Pillars event brought together exactly the room we had hoped for, full of conversation, questions, laughter and energy. Hosted over dinner and drinks, the evening featured a conversation between James from Le Swine and Alix Caiger, exploring the realities of building brands, the lessons learned from working in the industry, and James’ own journey bringing Le Swine to life. An intimate and energised start to Pillars, the night set the tone for what the series was created to do: bring brilliant people together, open up honest conversations and create space for the ideas shaping hospitality.
